Our two-day Beginner Distiller Class is designed for anyone interested in learning the art and science of distilling. Whether you're completely new to the craft or looking to expand your knowledge, this hands-on experience covers everything from equipment and mash preparation to fermentation, still operation, making cuts, proofing, and producing quality spirits.

Located in the heart of the beautiful Texas Hill Country.

Class Size & Enrollment

To ensure a quality, hands-on learning experience with personalized instruction, each class is limited to a small group of students.

- Minimum Enrollment: 7 students

- Maximum Enrollment: 10 students

A minimum of 7 students must be registered at least 30 days before the scheduled class date for the class to proceed.

Once the minimum enrollment requirement has been met, registration will remain open after the 30-day mark until all 10 available spots are filled or the class begins.

Minimum Enrollment & Refund Policy

If a scheduled class does not reach the required minimum of 7 registered students at least 30 days before the class date, participants will have the option to:

- Receive a full refund of their class payment.

- Apply their payment toward a different available class date.

Students will be notified if a class does not meet the minimum enrollment requirement and may choose whichever option works best for them.

This policy allows out-of-town students adequate time to finalize travel and lodging arrangements.

Lunch Provided

Lunch is included on both days of the class!

Students will enjoy a provided lunch each day, allowing everyone to relax, ask questions, and connect with fellow students and instructors.

Traveling to the Class

For students traveling from out of town, the two closest major commercial airports are:

San Antonio International Airport (SAT)

Approximately 2 to 2.5 hours driving time.

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS)

Approximately 2 to 2.5 hours driving time.

Rental vehicles are available at both airports and are recommended for transportation to Mason.

Travel expenses, transportation, and lodging are not included in class tuition.
